Waimauku, Auckland
A New Chapter for Waimauku
Pukeatua Estate is a thoughtfully planned residential development on a 196-hectare working farm - bringing premium homes, generous green space, and a genuine sense of community to west Auckland.
Our Vision
From working farm to living community
For generations, this land has been shaped by the love of farming life - the turn of seasons, the care of the soil, the quiet pride of stewardship. Pukeatua Estate honours that heritage while imagining something new: a neighbourhood where people put down roots, where children grow up with open space at their doorstep, and where the land itself remains a living part of daily life.
Nearly half this site stays green, and that is by design. The gullies, the wetlands, the replanted creeks, the green network works alongside engineered stormwater ponds and attenuation. Built gradually over 15 to 20 years, the vision is to create a destination that complements the rural character of Waimauku, while providing the amenities, connections, and environmental restoration expected of a modern community.
What we stand for
Three principles guide everything we do
Community
Designed for neighbours
Pukeatua Estate is planned around the idea that great neighbourhoods are built on connection. Walkable village spaces, shared green corridors, cycleways, and thoughtful design will encourage the kind of everyday encounters that turn residents into a community.
Community plans →Green Space
41% of the site stays green
A significant 41% of the 196-hectare estate will be preserved as green space with every wetland protected, native plantings returned to the gullies and creeks, and open parkland that gives residents room to breathe, play, and reconnect with the natural landscape.
Green space plans →Heritage
Rooted in the land
The farm's history is woven into the estate's identity. The cultural connection to the land considered at every step, leaning into a partnership built over years.
