Awesome Family, Wonderful Animal Farm, Relaxing and Full of Natural Beauty

More then we could have hoped for, especially coming from the touristy Takapuna!
We were warmly and personally welcomed by Ingo and Tatjana.
Both our hosts were a wealth of knowledge on activities as well as information on New Zealand etiquette.
We were properly invited to a small gathering wine tasting, offered a boogie board for our 6 year old to bring to the beach, included on a feeding for the animals, and shown brochures on more touristy activities to participate in. We chose tree adventures, Which we LOVED!
We were also directed towards hikes that were appropriate for the level of hiking we could do with success.
We will treasure our adventures at Pukeatua Farmstay! Family away from family.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

We spent two days at this farm, and it was amazing and we would love to go back for another stay! The host was very warm and welcoming. The animals are really cute, and tame! Would recommend !

A delightful family weekend

A lovely quiet weekend out of the city with the little ones. Very clean and attractive room, with fresh local fruit on arrival. Family atmosphere - our warm friendly hosts made us feel right at home. The alpacas, calves, and chickens were a real highlight for the little ones. We also enjoyed little surprises like the minnow pond, the climbing wall, and the sandbox with a view. Would definitely recommend and visit again! Thank you!

Unforgettable farmstay with lots of sightseeing’s

We enjoyed our farmstay at friendly family of Tatjana & Ingo a lot. We found it great that this family takes care of all the animals to make sure they have a high quality life. Some animals even got rescued from the unfortunate destiny. It was very interesting to hear the stories and to know more about characters of each pet. For us it was an unforgettable experience of feeding the animals by hand! Especially alpacas and horses! We felt very welcome and had great talks with the whole family which made us feel like home. Also, the surroundings and views are spectacular! Tatjana can advise you really beautiful places worth to visit nearby. All the best wishes to Tatjana & Ingo and the kids! We were welcomed warmly and soon felt part of the family rather than paying guests. This is a great location about an hours drive from auckland airport and in a beautiful location near vineyards. A good stop off after long flights. The rooms have been designed to provide everything a traveller needs with first class linens and fixtures. Breakfast is taken with the family and was good. Great Coffee offered at other times as well as your own supply of tea and coffee in the rooms. We would definitely return in the future.

Extremely beautiful and scenic views of the landscape that evoked such deep spiritual feeling. Beautiful and engaging family, which helped us felt so much at home. Very welcoming, kind, and lovely! We loved the times spent with you all as a family during breakfasts and down times on the balcony, and sharing the experiences tending to the farm. We especially appreciated feeding the hens, ducks, and alpacas. We appreciated the useful information about places to go and things to do as a family. Thank you/mahalo for an epic time at Pukuatea! You couldn't ask for better hosts - they made us feel like part of the family. The facilities were spacious and clean. For evening meals we travelled to local towns mainly about 15 minutes away. We would certainly pick this again.

Great location, exceptionally welcoming family - great to meet all of the family, fantastic to be picked up from our wedding on the Saturday night and drop us back to pick up the car. Fantastic views, wonderful breakfast couldn't of asked for better :-)

Fantastic stay – would highly recommend!

So pleased that we booked to stay at Pukeatua Farmstay. We originally booked to stay here for its proximity to the Hunting Lodge Winery - we had a wedding to attend and this is literally 2 minutes away by car. However, the views from the room are outstanding, the room itself was like home from home - very comfortable bed, modern bathroom and lovely sitting area - and our hosts Tatjana and Ingo were fantastic. Extremely welcoming and made us feel really comfortable. We were also spoiled for choice at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend staying here without hesitation and am sure we will be back when we're next in Auckland. Thanks for a great stay Tatjana and Ingo - lovely to meet you and the family.

Just too wonderful to explain

Was a wonderful place with beautiful and panoramic view from the hill. Lovely animals which include alpacas, hens, calves other amazing characters!
The accommodation was fantastic and where it's just too wonderful to explain, you would have to come there and stay to experience and forge memories along with the great and welcoming family. Beautiful location and beautiful family that has great service and is quite knowledgeable about the history of the area and of New Zealand as well.
Apart from that there are no other words to describe this wonderful place, you really do need to come and stay to fully understand what I mean :)
Thank you for time with you and your family! Hope every other person, couple , family or group get to experience what me and my partner has for a long time to come!!!
