We had a few hours of exploring our little bush strip in the gully....

Spring is in the air. The weather is getting warmer, so I did my walk down into the valley to check the water supply to the troughs, checked all fences and gates....

A walk down the hill and saying hello to all the animals can be a really healthy exercise and you can discover the odd cool things when you look at details: fence wire knots...

Although summer is officially over, it almost feels like spring. Flowers in the garden and in the paddocks, raspberries, and chillies are ripening....

the amount of rain we had over the last few days is extraordinary - at least on a subjective level. The occasional hours of sunshine in between evaporate the water quickly, hence yesterday we had 30 deg C. with 80% relative humidity....
